    “Your quirk,” Izuku whispers, like the air is too fragile for anything else.

    “Yeah?” Hitoshi says, mouth quirking before he bites down at the inside of his lip like he’s got a pokerface to maintain.

    Izuku’s waiting for Katsuki to snap. He can feel the tension coiled tight between them like a living thing and when Katsuki opens his mouth to suck in a breath, Izuku makes a split second decision and beats him to the punch.

    “On me,” he blurts out, a bit louder than intended. Hitoshi scrunches his brows and Katsuki deflates. “Your quirk. Would you—on me?”
