Lloyd may be eight years old, but he was also raised in a boarding school for aspiring villains, then lived alone on the streets for a bit. Obviously he knows how to swear and does so liberally.
The same cannot be said for Zane, a lawful good amnesiac nindroid who spent much of his life sheltered in a treehouse in the middle of nowhere.

Summary
Kai thinks about what Lloyd said at the beginning of their conversation. How many people have pretended to be this kid’s friend, only to stab him in the back? He doesn’t have anyone.
And, well, Kai happens to have a friend group dedicated to hating Garmadon anyway, so there’s only one natural conclusion to be drawn here.
Lloyd needs to join the Secret Ninja team.

tasked by Green to find new recruits for the team, Kai finds his eye drawn back over and over again to one particular person. Now if only Green would get over whatever issue he has with Lloyd Garmadon joining.

Summary
Lloyd Garmadon is used to being hated. That's just how his life works—if someone knows that he's the son of the warlord who attacks Ninjago City on a weekly basis, they hate his guts. That's why he's made sure that his team—the only people he's ever been happy with—don't know who he is behind the mask, with the small price attached that he doesn't know their identities, either. It's not like the rest of them know each other's, anyways, so it's not a big deal.
But then they find out.
The fact that Lloyd's elemental power makes him an empath doesn't help, either.
[Basically the premise of the movie pre-reveal with show elements and personalities, and Lloyd's Green Power is him being able to sense and be influenced by the emotions of those around him.]
