Summary
It’s rare for her mother to act like this. Even at the age of six, Maki knows this. She knows there’s something wrong with her and Mai, and she knows that her mother cannot love them the same way someone like Naoya’s mother loves him. But she’s also only six, and so when her mother leaves her with crumbs of affection, Maki holds onto them without question.
It’s ok if it’s only within the privacy of their own bathroom. It’s ok if she at least gets to feel her mother’s touch when she washes Maki’s back.

It was far too early in the morning to be out like this, honestly, just teetering on the edge of sunrise, though not much light was able to break through the slate of gray clouds covering the sky. But Gojo had called requesting a ride back to the school and when Gojo called, Ijichi answered, no matter how much it inevitably stressed him out. It was his job, after all, and Ijichi was nothing if not a diligent employee.

Summary
The Hyrulean royal family was in quite the predicament.
By tradition, the first born daughter of the royal family shall carry the family name Zelda and unlock the powers used to seal Calamity Ganon. Traditions were broken when the Queen of Hyrule gave birth to twinsーtwo healthy, beautiful baby girls. They named the first daughter Zelda, hoping the Goddess Hylia would answer their prayers and keep tradition. The second daughter, named (Y/n), was hidden from the public eye at the request of the King.
Zelda spent her whole life with government studies and prayer being stuffed into her face, with almost no room for her own personal passions. (Y/n), on the other hand, had no royal duties to fulfill and instead learned alongside her sister, became a knight, and made a certain special friend. Despite having a place among those she's closest to, she still felt confused, as if something in her life quite hadn't clicked into place yet...
That is, until her entire world crumbles whenever she realizes that her true purpose is that of which her sister had been promised her entire life.

The takeaway you worked at - Generic Chinese Takeaway - was a nice work area, all things considered, and the pace of work was erratic, but never overwhelming-
"heyy! I hear you're the best place around!"
-Though sometimes it could be incredibly tedious.
The man who had just walked in was tall. Absurdly so. He had white hair, as if he were incredibly old, but he was wearing sunglasses, and looked early twenties, at the oldest. He had a wide, playful grin plastered onto his face, his clothes mussed and stained, probably from a long work day or something.
"Well, it would be rude to deny the claim, and prideful to accept it. It's all subjective, really, you like what you like."

You work at a takeaway that it just so happens several named sorcerers visit. Oddly enough, they seem to come back for more than just the food.
