A sudden thud pushed all the air out of Jiang Cheng’s lungs as they hit the ground. It was only a few seconds later, when he was able to properly breathe again, that he registered that Wen Qing was now pressed against him, her body pushing him down into the floor.
She stared at him. Jiang Cheng stared back.
Her hand tightened ever so slightly around his t-shirt, and his hands subconsciously replicated the motion against her back.
Fuck, this is hot, she thought, and an image of her lowering her face to press their lips together followed.
Jiang Cheng’s brain shortcutted.
A Cherry Magic AU, where Jiang Cheng’s not sure what terrible thing he did in a previous life to deserve this, but his life officially sucks—Lotus Pier Systems Inc. is on the verge of collapse, Jin Ling’s dog has gone missing, and to top it off, both Wei Wuxian and Wen Qing are suddenly back in his life after not having seen either of them for more than a decade.
Oh, and there’s the small matter of Jiang Cheng being a thirty-year-old virgin who can suddenly read minds upon touch.
He handles this about as well as you’d expect.

Summary
After being dumped by her best friend and fellow Weird Sister, Emerentia Wyrd—time-traveling witch, woman of letters, and savior of fandoms—healthily deals with the breakup by becoming obsessed with the epic masterpiece slash clusterfuck of sadness known as The Untamed.
Heeding their call for help, she knows she must ignore the Weird Sisters’ promise to the Thirteenth Doctor and the entourage of angry script writers about not traumatizing any further characters, authors or readers, and sets out on a lone quest to save everyone in the cultivation world from their own demise, by meddling, fangirling and accidentally marrying a nineteen-year-old.
Meanwhile, the cultivation clans are starting to get a bit suspicious of the delusional fate goddess in their midst, and things start to get slightly out of hand for Emerentia, as she tries to juggle a friendship breakup, losing her internet connection, and the imminent risk of having the entire cultivation world coming after her with swords and walking corpses.
It’s been said before, but it’ll be said again: No good deed goes unpunished.

As the elevator doors opened with a ding, people started pushing, and soon Wei Wuxian found himself pressed between the inner wall and Lan Zhan’s arm. Ugh. You could feel even through the layers of fabric that he was one of those annoying people who worked out regularly, not because of a doctor’s orders, or because they enjoyed it, but because it was good for you.
Oh, god, Lan Zhan said. Alright, don’t panic. Deep breaths. You can do this.
A Cherry Magic AU, where Wei Wuxian on his 30th birthday finds himself in a crowded elevator next to Lan Zhan, and soon realizes two things:
1. that there seems to be some truth to that ridiculous urban legend about 30-year-old virgins being able to hear the thoughts of other people as soon as they touch.
2. that Lan Zhan works out, AND that he, despite his stoic exterior, thinks that Wei Wuxian smells good and has an adorable bed-head, along with some other not-so PG-13 fantasies and thoughts.
And no, Wei Wuxian has no idea what to do with this information.
