Summary
Desperate to escape the pain, the responsibility, Orostor's brain breaks itself. Repurposing two halves of a whole, Hii and Fu are born.
Fu thinks everything is fine, there's nothing to address. Hii disagrees.
And while Fu may be able to make himself forget, the people around him won't.

Summary
“Nervous, still?” Enjin chuckles. His hand reaches out, fingers slipping between Zanka’s on his stomach.
Zanka side-eyes him, still nervous. The face he makes is meant to be a reassuring smile, but it feels more like inexperience on his blushing cheeks.
Enjin thumb brushes, back and forth and back again, over the ridges of Zanka’s knuckles. Enjin leans in, lidded eyes watching the bob of Zanka’s throat.
“What do I gotta do” —a kiss to his shoulder— “to give you relief, hm?” —a kiss, open-mouth and hot as sin, to the thin skin below his ear.
Zanka gasps, knees coming up to curl into himself. Enjin cups his cheek, hand enveloping him from temple to chin, to kiss the corner of his lips.
“C’mon Zan-zan, what can I do?” His voice flirts along the edge of a faux beg. He nips at Zanka’s bottom lip then kitten-licks to soothe the pain.

“Did you see everything you needed to see,” Enjin taunts. His eyes lid in that cocky way they do when he teases. Fu has seen him do it with nearly everyone else, but no one else is here. It’s for him only, right now. It feels good. It feels nice.
“No! I, I mean, well, I didn’t mean it like that, I was just, um…” Fu fiddles with the hem of his shirt, anxious and sweating and wishing he wasn’t so him.
“You wanna look some more, then,” Enjin finishes for him. It’s not that he doesn’t want to look some more. He’d like to do a lot more than a mere look if he could, but he can’t because he won’t because he’s not going to make the first move no matter how badly his fingers ache to touch; and besides, he’s Fu of all people. He’s not really a catch, even with—especially with—his self-sabotaging desire to do and say and be as he’s told.
You really are a coward.
“Yeah,” Fu whimpers in response to Hii before he realizes that he’s also, in a way, responding to Enjin.
