“You are so dramatic.” Ilya then decided to declare war and poked Shane in the side until he was laughing so hard he could barely breathe. When Ilya had Shane pinned to the bed, but was no longer attacking, he said very seriously, “I’m not serious about you having to get a tattoo. You mentioned it before, and I got excited at the idea, yes. The thought of being the first, and only person, to mark your skin permanently is enticing. But it is not a necessity. No tattoos or hundreds of them, I still just want you. I do not want you to put yourself through something you are not comfortable with, just because you think it is something I want.”

Shane gives more thought to getting his first tattoo. He's not ready yet, but he comes up with a solution to scratch the itch in the meantime.

Andrew decides it's time to move out of his childhood home and answers an ad on Craigslist. His new roommates are not at all what he expected and he's convinced all three of them share a single braincell.
Matt is a former boxer with teddy bear tendencies; Kevin is petty, proud and never seems to not have an opinion; and Neil is an underachiever with a bit of mystery surrounding him that Andrew can't help be intrigued by.
Somewhere along the way they form a bit of a dysfunctional family along with Andrew's twin brother Aaron.
