You deduce that Kim did, in fact, plan to stay up all night, and that plan might be a strong word for it. He fantasized about it, keeping him sane as he fretted over the grocery shopping, while chopping vegetables and choosing his outfit. All the little things he’s done for you have culminated in an effort you find irresistible.
As he assembles the coffee pot, you step out of the light, closing the gap between your bodies. You catch a glimpse of a smile. You are exactly where you are supposed to be.

Kim thinks he's managed to stay stealth at his new precinct - until Harry breaks down, begging to be allowed to fuck him.
