Each night that passed was an uneventful night for a certain blue-haired assassin and his redhead partner in crime. But on this particular night, it seems fate has woven a second chance into the seams of their lives. When Nagisa takes a risk and calls the one person he wanted to comfort him, he says the words he was hoping to hear.
“I’m coming, Nagisa. I’ll be there soon.”
Perhaps it would be just for the night, and he'd leave him when the morning came, but he would not let this chance fly by him as if it were nothing.
OR
Hiromi pushed Nagisa over the edge a bit, prompting him to take a risky step toward the one person he knew could truly comfort him. Thoughts and tears ensue.

“Do you remember the things we did the past three years? The things we went through?” If there was an emotion Karma had rarely, if ever, felt, it would be regret. He had never felt remorse for his actions toward other people. They deserved to get their heads beaten in and slammed onto the concrete. But Nagisa? That probably caused him some confusion and unspoken pain.
Nagisa noticed a shift in tone at that last statement. If his eyes weren’t deceiving him, it almost looked like there was a hint of regret in Karma’s eyes. Karma? Experiencing regret? Regret over what?

Summary
After Kunugigaoka Junior High's graduation ceremony, Nagisa and Karma goes for a walk together after Nagisa ended up missing his bus stop as a result of letting lost in conversation. After a heartfelt conversation and a confession of love, the two walk hand-in-hand, ready for whatever the future held for them (it would consist of a beautiful ice-cream date).
In a parallel universe, two first-year junior high students have their first proper introduction while checking out a magazine featuring Sonic Ninja: a boy with long blue hair and another with fiery red. Maybe this time, things could be better.

Summary
Lu Guang has no backstory as of now (03-2024) and that's a crime, so I'll invent some for him.
He's getting a) a past he had to run away from, b) an unknown amount of survivors guilt (spoiler: it's a lot) and c) asthma.
There will be more than one character death. Also, time travel is confusing. So confusing...How does the s3 trailer contain more backstory for Lu Guang than three seasons of this show ever gave him? Come on! Ugh! (01-2026)

“Floorboards can be dead giveaways. Come back when you’re done.” That’s what he says, but he walks to the small cabinet in their kitchen and takes out a small white bottle, going over to where the streetlights illuminated their room so he could take a good look at the expiration date and the medicine’s name. Lu Guang places the bottle next to the half-empty glass of water on the kitchen counter, making himself comfortable on the kitchen stool.
“What would I do without you?” Cheng Xiaoshi jokes, but the smile on his face is more genuine than what his tone indicates.
