Summary
From the day he was born, Mike Wheeler has been a disappointment.
Everyone in Hawkins knows how things are supposed to work. Alphas lead, omegas follow, and people grow into the roles they're meant to fill. Mike is expected to present alpha, just like his father. Will Byers is expected to present omega, just like everyone assumes.
But expectations have a funny way of being wrong.
When Will presents alpha, Mike begins to realize that the rules everyone built their lives around might not be nearly as reliable as they think.

Summary
A/B/O Apocalypse AU.
On November 6th, 1984, Hawkins, Indiana experiences a freak hyper-presentation event. The result? Every child under 3 and every adult over 20 dies due to overexertion of the body - leaving behind only the children and young adults completely changed from the incident. Their dynamics presented earlier than normal, and at an intensity never before seen in modern dynamics. The US government places a quarantine on all of Hawkins - for the safety of those changed inside of Hawkins and for the protection of those outside.
Thus starts a period of time where Hawkins is split into three primary packs: The Homestead, Hargrove’s Pack and Hellfire.
Mike Wheeler wants nothing but the secured safety of his makeshift pack - but it requires him, Lucas and Dustin to deliver Max back into hell’s maw by Billy’s command. It’s an easy decision to defect when Will and Nancy are in the same pack protecting their target.
Will Byers tries not to think of the imminent issue looming ahead - he’s an unmated omega in a world where omegas can’t stay unmated for long. And it seems like his chosen alpha had just fallen into his lap.

Summary
Mike looks in the mirror again, studying the thin, lanky figure in the reflection — no soft curves or shapes, just sharp angles and jutting bones. His chiseled, narrow face, not at all delicate in the conventional sense, looks tired. His deep black eyes stare back at him with disgust.
How is this supposed to be an omega's body?
After the Byers temporarily move in with the Wheelers, Mike finds out he will never be an alpha, like everyone initially believed.
Obviously, he decides to hide it.

Summary
Mike is waiting for Will in the basement, a look of suspicious, nervous excitement on his face. He cleared the table and laid out upon it are two card games.
"Now, I know you’ll resist," Mike blurts out, stepping toward him. "But I think this will be good. For both of us! For when we... you know,” Mike trails off, “When we get partners.”
Will scoffs, stepping closer to inspect the titles.
Spill or Sip and Truth, Dare, or Strip.
Or: Mike suggests a spicy card game to help Will loosen up before college. It works a little too well, and suddenly they’re gambling with unresolved feelings, and clothes, that were meant to stay in place.

Summary

CPR training gets complicated when you're hot for your "straight" best friend and he keeps wanting to practice his mouth-to-mouth technique.
