Clarice Starling was swiftly let go after the events occurred at the Chesapeake house. So she ran, but not with him, and not of the fear of him either. What she wants most from the world she fears she cannot have, so she runs. Among hours of driving and her father’s grave she comes to her own conclusions of what her life is and why she really is running.
How ever will she grapple with the situation Dr Lecter left her in? She had, after all , told him, “not in a thousand years.”
