Summary
Through his spiraling, Jayce didn't even notice the man moving closer, nor did he hear the clank of his cane. He only noticed the closeness— how close to him he was now standing— after the man had let out a slight chuckle.
“You've gotten quite lost there, hmm? Where have you gone?”
It was hard not to recognize the humor mixed with genuine curiosity in his voice, and Jayce— despite the heat covering his cheeks— found himself a little more confident.
“My apologies. You're quite the sight, has anyone told you that?”
— OR: Jayce meets Viktor at a party and he can't seem to look away from him.

He'd been told, many times, that he has a good body, pullable hair, begger's eyes, grabbable waist and many other things that felt like utter objectification to Viktor, but if it meant getting money at the end, then he always managed.

“Good evening” Jayce murmured under his breath, too quick for Viktor to catch.
“Hello, Jayce” he put on a polite smile. Trying his best to not look like a nervous mess, he clasped his hands together, afraid his hands would shake like being in a job interview.
“Thank you for packing those” Jayce lifted all the 3 bags in one hand. Was ready to turn around on his heels and dip– it felt uncomfortable for him. Oh he must be dating someone then.“Jayce, I'd like to talk if you don’t mind,” he said quickly before Jayce left. Jayce stood in shock, Viktor never wanted to talk, not after divorce. He thought they would never talk, Viktor thought that too.
“About?” He looked confused and scared. Viktor wanted to comfort him that he doesn’t want their marriage back. That he can date as much as his heart content. The anger is reeling its head back, ugly and twisted in his stomach.

But all Viktor could do was stand there, silent, while he grew wet between his legs.
“Do not disrespect me…” Jayce growled. “Or my partner again.”
Partner.
Viktor could barely breathe.
Jayce always made it a point to correct others about Viktor’s position in Hextech.
But he hadn’t been talking about Hextech.
Not when he said “partner” like he meant “mate.”
