Summary
When Gale first questioned him about what sort of kinks he might introduce into their bedroom, hypothetically, if given the chance, Astarion’s eyes had positively lit up. He knew Gale had been curious, probably building up the courage to ask about such topics. So when his brave, beautiful boyfriend had finally taken the plunge, Astarion had been ready for him.

Summary
The Underdark was breath-taking. Literally, at some points, where the noxious fumes and spores were so thick Gale almost envied his vampiric companion for his ability to survive without a need to breathe. Despite his disdain to be there, Astarion seemed to blend in with his surroundings as if he belonged there.
As they stood outside the Myconid Colony, the majority of their party pouring over a map to plan out their next steps, he found Astarion on the edge of a cliff, staring out across the depths of the underdark. In the dimly glowing lights of the various colorful flora and fauna, he seemed even more ethereal than usual.
It suited him.
“Beautiful…”
Astarion tensed up slightly, before shrugging, his posture shifting back into his usual flamboyant self. Gale felt his cheeks heating up, and he made a furious mental note to stop underestimating his elven friend’s keen senses.
“As far as dark holes go? I suppose I’ve seen worse.”

Summary
Gale’s smile had been patient. An invitation for Astarion to open up and talk about himself. His immediate reflex was to keep things superficial. Enough to make himself sound interesting, but never surrendering anything of real value, or anything that might reveal the ugly truths he carried under the lace and ruffles of his shirt. Just some surface level small talk, a little lie here and there, before expertly steering the conversation back into the direction that he needed it to go. Mostly, away from him.
Or alternatively; Astarion attempts to seduce Gale as part of his master-plan to make a powerful ally to protect him from Cazador, but discovers that they might have more in common than the tadpoles in their brains, and accidentally tumbles into the first sincere connection he's felt in 200 years.

Summary
A different kind of unease washes over him as his mind takes him to a more recent memory. You’d given yourself to him so easily, giving up your blood like it meant nothing to you. He’d thought you a fool. A naive, pitiful weakling with a sickly sweet soul and a hero complex to boot. You really were a textbook hero, in all of your humble “Don’t mention it, it was the right thing to do.” glory. Did that make him the damsel? Astarion scoffs at the comparison, regrettably finding it to be not far off from the truth.
Alternatively; Astarion takes a quiet moment in the morning sun to contemplate his future, and your journey together so far.

Summary
Jayce knew it was going to hurt when he saw the first fissure in the crystal.
His second thought was relief that he was the only one in the lab.
He felt oddly numb. He brought his hand in front of him. The effect was….unsettling. Moving quickly his body could not seem to keep itself together. Particles of his skin floated in the wake of his hand.
