He drops into a crouch, unzips the bag, and smiles at Samira through his lashes, almost shyly. Like he’s waiting for approval.
The bag is stuffed with stacks of bills. Nearly overflowing. She can’t see any number lower than twenty, mostly fifties and hundreds, and Samira feels bile rise in her throat.
“Andrew,” she says, measured. Careful. “Where did you get that?”

He likes how it looks in her hand. "It’s the same color as your eyes."
