    Yet, as of late, something had been plaguing him. This sinking emotion that felt both too still and like a massive tsunami tearing apart his perfect shoreline. He first felt the feeling fester back in Montreal, or maybe a day before, when the Sharks had announced they’d be rapidly flying in some players from the Barracuda to replace some injured players.

    Unfortunately, William Smith insisted on being talented, irritatingly kind, and possessed of a smile that made Mack's teeth itch.

    Two years later, Mack comes into a country estate and discovers that his nearest neighbor is none other than his longtime rival and the most infuriatingly pleasant omega in Yorkshire.

    Will, meanwhile, thinks Mr. Celebrini seems a perfectly agreeable fellow.

    Which would all be very well, if Mack were not already hopelessly in love with him.

    the Regency Omegaverse AU where Mack falls first, Will falls harder, featuring one-sided rivalries, neighboring estates, flowers, dogs, accidental courtship, everyone figuring out they are husbands before they do.
