Summary
The day Daryl saw his little girl in his arms for the first time under the blinding lights of the hospital room, he promised himself he would never be like his old man.
He did everything in his power to change the way life used to play out for people like him. But shit happens. First, his brother way of life lingering around the streets and the walls of his home. Then, the responsibility of raising a child all on his own. But he pulled through. He would not be his old man.
But life has a funny way. Be it bad luck or destiny, one day the dead don't die, and he sees it. Maybe Dixons were meant to grow up surrounded by violence.
