Jungkook looked down at his name tag, he had pinned it a little askew when he got ready for his shift. His fingers itched to fix it now that he noticed, but as he lifted his hand to do it, Jimin reached further across the counter towards the tag and their fingers brushed together, the sudden pain and the tiny zap of static electricity making them both jump back.
“Ouch,” Jimin held his hand, but when his eyes met back with Jungkook’s, he laughed. ”Does this mean we can say there’s a spark between us?”
“Uh, um — “

Summary
Jungkook is no good with distractions. Admittedly, he’s juvenile in that way. Curious and impulsive, chasing after any new shiny thing, opportunity for a thrill, or interesting person. It’s risky sometimes, living with the propensity to do just about anything in an effort to feel. But, he’s long since reconciled with this part of himself— what some of his teachers had called his overactive id, where his poor attention span, over tendency to develop attachments, and competitive streak lie in wait.
All this to say that there's a reason why he finds himself glancing at the man on the treadmill next to him every few seconds.
Or, the one where Jungkook, who is "happily taken and totally straight," meets Jimin at the gym and gets a slightly attached and engages in a little "bromance."

A cold laugh escapes Jimin, his eyes burning with anger.
“We'll see how long that soul survives once the health inspectors shut your restaurant down. You're nothing more than an amateur playing with fire, Jeon.”
