Adora holds her glass up. “To life filled with happiness.”
She takes a second to really look at Adora. She’s wearing another suit today, this time without a vest. Gods, it’s unfair how good she looks. It’s also unfair that Catra finds herself again sitting across from this woman, wanting her. Although this time, she knows with painful accuracy exactly what she’ll be missing out on if she doesn’t take the opportunity.
She can tell that Adora is more subdued. It makes her think that she took Catra’s choice to not answer her texts often as disinterest. It’s definitely not that. If anything, Catra doesn’t want to come off as some wide-eyed girl who’s hanging off Adora because she’s starstruck. Yet, sitting this close to Adora, she can hardly think of the reasons why she shouldn’t try to rekindle what’s clearly still between them, just waiting to be set ablaze.
Catra raises her glass to meet Adora’s a light tinkling sound reverberating between them. “How about to a long night spent however we choose?”

A Copa do Mundo de 2026 está chegando, e Catra Silva está furiosa. A escalação da seleção brasileira é uma piada de mau gosto, e ela não vai ficar calada sobre isso — mesmo que isso signifique discutir com estranhos na internet até as 4 da manhã.
O que ela não esperava era que uma dessas estranhas fosse uma jogadora de futebol americano loira, de olhos azuis e músculos de dar inveja. Adora Strong é capitã do Bright Moon, tem um sorriso bobo e uma capacidade impressionante de fazer Catra perder a linha.
