Summary
Jeongin never liked summer.
He hated the sweltering heat of it, how his overheated skin felt when it came into contact with the cold air, how every species of insect gravitated toward him out of pure spite. So no, Jeongin did, in no way, like summer.

Summary
Jeongin’s heart felt like it got stabbed when he first heard him thinking about it. ‘Romantic surprises for Valentine's day’ was what Hyunjin spelled out in his mind as he was typing on his phone before starting to read online articles and blog posts. Images of flowers, desserts and cute packagings, they all popped around in Jeongin’s mind too as Hyunjin was imagining what he could possibly do for the person he has feelings for — pure torture.
Maybe this power came to Jeongin to stop him from pining over Hyunjin once and forever, to realize how pathetic it is to have a crush on a friend who clearly isn’t interested like that in him.
Hearing others’ thoughts can be as useful as confusing. Jeongin, unwillingly, misunderstands many things.

“You're too cute to do something like that,” Hyunjin says, picking up the cup. “I’ll take your word for it."
“No, yeah, I don’t—I don’t really lie." Jeongin's still blushing, deeper now; the man has that effect on him. “I-I’d get way too nervous.”
“Good.” Hyunjin takes a sip. “Death by latte would be a tragic way to go.”
Jeongin laughs, breathy and embarrassing. "Yeah. Right. Tough stuff."
"Especially since we've only just met."

Summary
“I don’t get it.” He sighs, staring at the ceiling where the galaxy projector Felix got him for Christmas lights stars in the cracked paint. “Why can’t I find someone who actually likes me?”
Hyunjin follows his gaze and sighs, and leans his weight over Jeongin’s legs until his head rests on his thighs. Then he reaches an arm out, traces the patterns around the twirling stars with a slender finger. “Love won’t just fall into your lap, Jeongin.”
“It’s not like I haven’t made an effort, though. Dating apps, blind dates, organic meetings in the produce aisle. Maybe it’s me. Maybe I’m just hard to-” He swallows. “-Like.” He meant to say love, but the word weighed too heavily, like saying it out loud would reveal a fear that would turn into prophecy if he uttered it.
Hyunjin doesn’t say anything for a moment, just continues to move his index finger like a paintbrush until he closes his hand into a fist and drops it.
“Or maybe you’re looking in all the wrong places.” He suggests.
