He chuckles, shaking his head as he pushes off the counter. There’s fondness in the way he looks at you now, eyes crinkling just slightly at the corners. “Thirty-five minutes." His head tilts on its axis, a smug expression now on his face. "You seem rather interested in the cooking time all of a sudden.”
You huff, turning away before he can see the flush rising at the tips of your ears. “I just wanted to make sure you remembered to set the timer.”
His chin rests lightly on your knees as he looks up at you with from under his sharp brows, eyes bright —too coy to be innocent. “Ohh, I see, I see." An uptick of a smirk. "What should we do to occupy ourselves until then?”
