    Best of all though, was the obvious delight upon Ed’s face. His mouth may be too busy being put to work to smile, but his eyes conveyed his joy for him; lighting up as they met Stede’s with nothing but love and thankfulness and an aching desire.

    What Ed loved most against his lips above all else though, was Stede’s own.
