Summary
Miss Fortune and the Unfortunate follows the story of an ordinary girl who, seemingly has everything together, is granted the power of fortune and creation by a ladybug kwami through a pair of earrings. Alongside her, a sheltered boy with a strained relationship with his father is cursed with bad luck when he finds a silver ring, with the addition of a black cat's constant torment.
It seems that when Paris is established to be in a crisis, the two are required to use their new miraculouses to defeat the man responsible for the danger-Papillon.
This is a retelling of Miraculous Ladybug PV.

The previously white butterfly, now oozing black and purple as a conduit of the butterfly miraculous powers, flutters softly within the silvered-gloved hand.
It sits there for a long time.
"Go, my akuma," The soft sigh pushes the butterfly, the akuma, out towards the despair of a love not returned. The same ache within his chest. On a level so great that he's willing to sacrifice the city to mend it.
It's okay if he's the villain for now. He'll force the miraculous of creation and destruction to be revealed, and once he gets his hands on them, none of this pain, none of his loss, will ever happen.

Summary

Two normal high school kids, Marinette and Felix, are chosen to become superheroes to protect Paris from supervillain Papillon.
During the daytime, Marinette is a lonely, shy girl who struggles in making friends. When the moon rises, that's when she becomes Ladybug: A confident superhero ready to face her fears to protect Paris.
Felix is a rude, reserved, quiet boy, with girls always clamoring for his attention. When darkness falls, he transforms into Cat Noir: A cunning shadow of the night, cracking jokes, and chasing the girl he loves; Ladybug.However, Ladybug --and by extension, Marinette-- does not love Cat Noir. She's in love with Felix, unbeknownst to her that they are the same person.
Despite their differences, Ladybug and Cat Noir must work together to defeat Papillon and free Paris from evil.
