Having been trapped for a few-too-many loops, Siffrin started to feel like nothing was going to change in their never ending play. How were they supposed to predict that the universe would put something so large to block their path to freedom? Literally?

Literally.
Most would argue that the only way to go once you've hit rock bottom is up, but Siffrin would argue that you can always dig down. Underground, even.

There is a distant sound from below. You startle and whirl around to see a bright dot stumbling towards the base of the tree. Curious, you clumsily make your way down the woven branches and stand just above the little nook you and Loop used to theorize, plan, and chat in.
The figure falls to their knees, clutching their face as shaky sobs interlaced with harsh breathing leaves them. They claw at their bangs and, in a frustrated movement, rip the hat off their head so that they can better pull at their darkless hair. They scream, not in agony, but in anguish. You—
You recognize them.

Summary
Noise continues to filter in, laughing and shouting, distant music. Far away, people are partying. Maybe... maybe you could just... leave? Un-not-invite yourself and eat a bunch before drowning yourself in alcohol, or something.
Never mind, you perk up physically; that sounds like a great idea. Not having to deal with your thoughts right now sounds like genuine heaven handed to you on a platter. As long as you're careful enough to not run into your friends, you'd probably be fine. You need air, a distraction. And Mirabelle looks so tired... you look at her, turning your head. You don't want to accidentally disturb her by being here.
or, siffrin gets drunk, fails to deal with their trauma, and promptly resorts to something extreme.
