Summary
'Thanks,' he mumbled, putting his hand on Sam's, reminding himself that this was, in fact, not just a wicked trick of his own feeble mind. Just Sam. Sam, who seemed to know much clearer of humanity, which he had argued for so fiercely, spoken of in relation to Higgs, when they'd boarded the DHV Magellan two days ago, that even Higgs had grown curious about its existence. If Sam believed in it, his redemption, the universe might just show him some mercy.
or; some domestic fuckery for these fuckers after the shit I put them through in my other story...hehe

Summary
Sam shifted his weight anxiously from foot to foot, spring-loaded and ready for anything he might try to throw his way. “What is this?” he panted. “Are you real?”
“Oh, I’m as real as it gets.” Palms upturned, Higgs slowly began to lift his arms out to his sides. “Now, this little game of ours may have been on pause for a while, but what do you say we get back to it, hmm? Amelie or no Amelie, the big number six is—” His voice faded.
And then he stopped. He froze in place, and even at a distance, even under the hood of his suit, Sam could tell something was wrong.
Then the BTs came, screaming and clawing and bubbling up from the ground at Higgs’ feet. Sam drew his weapon, but there was no need. They were focused on Higgs, and Higgs alone. Very quickly, he began to sink into the tar.
Sam doesn’t know why he did what he did. He should’ve turned and walked away; let them drag that fucker down with them where he belongs. Maybe that would’ve tasted like justice. Hell, the place was already a crater – what more damage could a Voidout even do?
But no. Instead, he ran straight towards the fray.

Summary
Having recently taken the position of Papa, Secondo had been urged by the Clergy to choose a personal Cardinal assistant. There was no one he wanted to spend that much time around, however, and so he had yet to choose one.
That was until a shy Cardinal stepped into his office and nervously asked to help with his work.Bookmarked by andyissad0
