"I’m dropping this off on behalf of Dr. Wilson. It's an autopsy record that may be pertinent to tomorrow’s proceedings," she explained, struggling to look Adler in the eye.
Whatever this odd reaction was, Adler had seemingly caught onto it. She rounded the desk slowly, approaching with the grace of a cat stalking its prey.

Summary
These are what I have affectionately dubbed The Iristitials. Each story spotlights a different moment in the first ten years of Iris’s life.
The stories can be read independently, but many details will carry through.
In the same way, these borrow a lot of pre-canon details, characters, and headcanons from BombshellBlondie’s incredible fic Life Simply Grows Around It. This fic changed my life and I cannot recommend it enough. You don’t strictly need to have read it first for this series to make sense, but also, do not deprive yourself. Go read it!
