We might not know right now what to do, what to say, to reach what we both want but… right here, being right here with you… it makes me hopeful, Megumi”, Yuuji said, whispering the words into the night, and saying them with such reverence that it made Megumi wish for one of the gods above to be listening to him, to grant them this one, singular piece of happiness in such a rigid and bleak world.
“Then, let’s begin with that, Yuuji. With hope”, Megumi smiled softly at him, a singular turn of his lips towards one side, but to Yuuji that simple gesture meant the world. Megumi did not give out his smiles so easily, had only seen him do so rarely before, but he had given him plenty tonight. He would do anything within his power to see that smile more often on his face.

Summary
There’s a new web-slinging superhero in Tokyo, but as far as Megumi’s concerned, it isn't worth dwelling on.
He has no time to dwell on anything, really, between starting life at Jujutsu College and struggling with everything from increasing amounts of homework to dealing with a ragtag group of nosy friends, an overbearing father figure, a steadily worsening caffeine addiction, a bizarre amount of stalking, supervillains attacking the city, and a roommate whose smile is a bit too captivating.
On top of that, there’s probably something up with Itadori. But Megumi doesn’t want to think about his new roommate and best friend too much— well, more than he does already.
It’s all slowly driving him crazy. And for some reason, he might be starting to feel the same way about a certain superhero he keeps running into…Series
