    Summary

Shinsou Hitoshi grew up always being told he was destined to be a villain, and everyone knows a villain can't be a hero.

So he couldn't really be a hero, that's fine. He'd be as close to a hero as a villain could be.

    OR

Shinsou becomes a vigilante and is surprisingly good at it.

    Summary

A boy made of lies that were all supposed to mean something. His quirk, his past, his NAME, all carefully built to mean nothing. But it never goes according to plan. Izuku thought he had everything handled, under control. His quirk is nothing, like everyone thinks it is. His past is locked away, where it can't hurt anyone anymore. His name? Fake, obviously. Both of them.

How long can this relative peace last when a desperate vigilante bites off more than he can chew? How will run-ins with heroes, villains, and a strange girl with a penchant for knives alter the course of history?

Meanwhile, a different girl sits on a beach, an outcast from birth. A destiny approaches her, brought on by one lucky chance and a conversation with a man the shadow of what he used to be. When destiny and the public eye prove to be too much, who will be there to pick up the pieces?

And what's wrong with these quirks?

This is the beginning of something more.

    ----

Or, Izuku has AFO and nothing ever goes according to plan. Sometimes for the better, sometimes not.

    Summary

Zuko had never excelled at anything. Azula was a prodigy. Uncle always knew what to say. And Father... Father was strong, iron-like. But Zuko had only ever been good at surviving. Putting one foot in front of the other in a grim show of stubborn determination, gritting his teeth and bearing it. Survival was all he had ever been taught. He knew how to do it. So when he was kidnapped by the Southern Water Tribe, he expected to fight as he always had. He didn’t expect to be taught instead how to live.

In a warring land, the Water Tribe forgave the enemy in an act of defiance. For this, he was torn from them, and this time, his wounds won't heal so easily.

Forced back into nothing but survival, the last person Zuko expected to see was Hakoda's son. Hakoda was a promise of safety. The relentless blue of Sokka’s eyes was a promise of happiness. Zuko could have both if he just reached out his hands, but he found them clutching into fists. After all, he’d been burned one too many times.

But hey, at least between Hakoda and Sokka, Zuko could appreciate the family resemblance of pure, asinine stubbornness.

    Summary

Will Twilight ever admit to being Wolfie? Will Legend ever admit to being in pain? Will Time ever tell the others about that possessed mask he's been carrying around, and will Wild ever mention the fact that he may or may not have befriended the enemy? Find out in the next episode of Dragon Ball Z. Or, possibly, in this fic.

Takes place after In Which Wild Avoids Meeting the Gang. Fic is a WIP and tags/warnings may change as it progresses. Not LU canon compliant, but vaguely Zelda Timeline compliant.

    Summary

“I don’t understand,” he says, and his arms are wrapped around himself now, as if he is cold. They are in Hebra, yes, but he can’t help but feel as if the cold has nothing to do with how he is beginning to shiver.
“What do you mean you don’t understand?” Revali demands, turning back to him, his glare even deeper on his face than before. “I’ve expressed myself clearly to you many times before - it is no fault of mine that you see yourself as better than I simply because of the sword on your back. Surely you cannot blame me for cutting my losses here - I’ve wasted enough time on you as it is.”
“I-I don’t understand,” Link repeats, because for once, he truly doesn’t know how it was that he didn’t please this individual. He thought he understood, before, but Revali has grown more and more upset, and Link simply does not understand what he has done wrong to cause this.
    He wants to fix this.
It is the first time in his life he can ever truly remember wanting something.
It is as his vision begins to blur (he doesn't know why) that Revali’s expression shifts.
“Oh,” the Rito says, and suddenly, his face is no longer stuck in a glare, but in horror, and a deep, deep sadness in his eyes. “Oh, no.”
