Summary
“Matt…?” The word starts as a plea but dissolves into a moan as the blade makes its way up again, toward her clit, and the tip is now probing her hood, lifting it delicately and dangerously, she’s wet, so wet, and scared and it’s amazing and she opens her legs just a fraction more, hearing the echo of Matt’s low ‘open’ over and over again in her head and the blade is like a drug and Matt watches in fascination as Alex’s focus shifts entirely to the man’s hand hovering near her clit, now bringing a needle inside the hood, probing gently and testing for space – space for the jewelry? Space for a cut? Alex doesn’t know, Alex doesn’t care; her body is impossibly still, heartbeat fast, and Matt brings a slow finger to her lips, not wanting to startle her, just show her he’s there for her and she licks his finger with a careful hello, her eyes never leaving the blade.

Summary
Alex closes her eyes and smoothes her hands down the sides of her top, feeling the press of the folded paper she’s tucked into the band of her skirt. Intimate. Every second that passes, every second she can’t race down the stairs and out that front door to find Matt feels like the unraveling an already unsteady possibility. She thinks of him writing that poem – how long had it taken? Had he any idea what it would do to her, she wonders, cunt already pulsing as images from his poetry – his fantasies? How long, Matt? – run through her head.

Summary
It’s not a letter, it’s a poem. For me? She scans that first page quickly, her heart beginning to race… Alex, unrequited, cunt, falling, lips, cock… and hurriedly shuffles the sheets as she stands: …yours, night, fucking, always, mine… on and on.

Summary
Matt and Alex meet together again at a fan event. They haven't seen each other in years. Their lives have taken drastically altered turns since they last were together.
Thankfully due to a red-eye flight, there aren’t too many people around – which, thankfully – means no gawkers. Matt is just too tired to deal with that now. He loves his fans of course. They are his lifeblood and still keep him going all these years after his reign on the show ended. But his mind has been elsewhere lately. For the past several weeks, as a matter of fact. No matter how hard he’s tried to dismiss it with realities, it all just keeps circling back around. To her. Always to her. Even now.
Inspired by the song "Elephants" by Rachel Yamagata (helps if you listen to it prior to reading!)

Summary
She would recognize that voice anywhere, even after all the years - she begins to count, how long has it been? Eleven, no, maybe twelve years now - yes, twelve years. Sometimes it’s like she hasn’t stopped seeing him, watching him on television and reading the papers, following his career from afar; and sometimes, so many things have changed, it’s like it’s been centuries...
