Kevin absolutely hates his heat.
It’s an unbearable waste of a weekend: filled with nothing but blood-curling discomfort prickling beneath his skin and twisting his stomach, hot flashes coursing through his body that’s somehow always trembling to make him dizzy, and absolutely no exy. It’s entirely useless — beyond useless.
So why can’t he shake the distant feeling of longing now that his heat for this month is over?
Something feels unfinished, unsatisfied. Kevin can’t quite put his finger on it, but it leaves a bitter taste on his lips: something like alcohol, both disgusting and addicting. A craving he thinks he shouldn’t have.
