Summary
Neil Doe has a target painted on his back. Andrew can't figure out who's going to take the bullet.
With his luck, probably both of them.
(In which there are mysteries of statistical probability, an interesting night club, old ghosts, perhaps a romance, and a lot of money.)

Summary
It’s Tokyo 2021, backdrop for the XXXII Summer Olympiad Games. Oikawa Tooru returns to Japan after a triumphant, eight-year long run as pro setter in Argentina’s professional volleyball League. And it's been just as long since Hajime watched him disappear across the oceans, maybe never to return.
On reuniting with your best friend, standing atop the world stage, and trying to catch wisps of a golden boy. An Olympic tale, one lifetime in the making.

Summary
Three days after he signs his death sentence to Palmetto State, five after Andrew Minyard knocks him breathless to the ground, Neil's gaze snaps to the locker room mirror and stares, frozen, at the word threat scrawled along his spine in terrifying bold.
All in all, he isn’t thrilled about the situation this puts him in, but based off the negative connotation, it isn’t one-sided, either. On the bright side, at least this means his soulmate doesn’t harbor any delusions of grandeur.

Summary
The lights go out at 6:13 p.m. on a weak flicker and the heaving sigh of the air conditioning announcing its long-awaited rest. The cloistering stillness that follows settles in around them like a cocoon—a thick blanket of nothing. Without the constant whirring, hissing, and faint beeping that announces the consciousness of their taken-for-granted electronic companions, everything becomes very still. And very quiet. And a little hot, even after only a minute of waiting. A single droplet of sweat forms behind Neil’s ear, quivering and itchy. He looks from the now black screen of the TV, to the game controller in his hand, to the smoothly blank face of his roommate, Jeremy.
“Uh,” Jeremy says.

Summary
“Have you considered the possibility that Neil has chosen you, but believes you have not chosen him?” Renee says. "Have you ever explicitly told him what you want?”
“Neil knows what I want,” Andrew snaps. This is not Andrew’s fault.
“How do you know?”
Because Neil always knows. He is as fluent in Andrew’s micro-expressions as he is in German and French. He knows which head tilts mean “go on” and which ones mean “shut up.” Without ever asking, he learned what it meant to see Andrew wearing double layers of long sleeves, or taking multiple showers in a day, and learned to hand Andrew the car keys.
That has always been the most terrifying thing about Neil — his patience to wait, watch, listen, learn. The prospect that if Neil were given enough time, there would be no part of Andrew that was just Andrew’s anymore.
“He has to know,” Andrew says.
“Does he?” Renee says. “Have you ever known Neil to assume that he is wanted?”
Five times Neil tells someone that he and Andrew aren’t dating, and one time Andrew uses his words to set the record straight.

Summary
Bucky glances up at Sam through his eyelashes. His look is soft and a little wistful, and it abruptly explains everything from the past two years. Simmering just below the surface of this look is the reason why someone like Steve would drop the shield for Bucky not once but twice, and would make that same decision over and over again if he had to.
It’s not like Sam didn’t get it before. He did. Of course he did. He’d have given everything up for Riley, would still give all of this up in a heartbeat if it meant having Riley back in his life, now more than ever. He got it before, all right.
It’s just that now he understands.
