Summary
The opportunity to shape the perfect world, free from crime and corruption, fell into his hands and he’ll be damned before he lets that power slip through his fingers.
It’s perfectly reasonable—understandable really, given the number of names he writes each day—that he can’t keep track of all of them.

Summary
The Luidaeg is the terror fae parents tell their children of, who will give you exactly what you wish for while cursing you blind in the process. She’s the monster in the night, a neutral abritriter who’s been the downfall of heroes and villains alike. The mere mention of her name sends a shiver down the spine of full-grown purebloods, who change the topic faster than propriety demands as if speaking of her in tones louder than whispers could summon her wrath.
She is the inevitable turning of the tide, the grinding of rock, stone, and bone into sand, and you should never, ever, forget that.
Quentin doesn’t forget, per say, but the incomprehensible nature of the Luidaeg’s power seems rather unimportant when she’s got flour on her overalls and in her hair, chocolate smeared on her face, and is currently swearing at a cookbook.
(or, Quentin and the Luidaeg bake cookies, watch tv, and discuss the nature of family and responsibility.)

Summary
“It is the instruction of the Prophet of the Lord Undying, whose name was given up in his service, that in this manner, we observe this solemn ritual.” Harrow intones.
Gideon slides the device into its slot, holding on to both the base and the box once it clicks into place.
Harrow casts three knuckle bones behind her, rattling into full-size skeletons as they land.
“Griddle,” She says, and Gideon clicks the center button.
(or, a few remains of pre-resurrection music survive, dating to the beginning of the reign of the Lord Undying. it lives on in the ninth house.)

Summary
Anakin has a really strange dream. What was this about him being a depressed cyborg? And why was Obi-Wan a hermit on Tatooine, doesn't he know that's how one gets roped into legends?
(in other words, the original trilogy is the extremely convoluted product of anakin's subconscious)

the gods are different (resurrection is involved) by afictionalpointofview

Summary
With the Greeks, resurrection is left to the kids, where the gods can turn a blind eye, or they when involve the dearly departed becoming gods, however minor, themselves.
The Egyptian Gods are a whole other mess for that matter, barging into whole other pantheons (they’re very good at making friends), and avoiding the whole matter of death entirely. (Most of the time, at least)
However, the Norse prefer to be slightly more involved in post mortem affairs, especially when there’s a possibility for a bit of friendly Duels-to-the-Death (Now on Tuesdays!).

Summary
His father’s spirit seems to finally be at peace, because he’s seen neither hide nor hair of him; no cryptic messages, no confusing dreams of statues and unburying, no more tasks or falling scrolls. A job well done, for the Once and Future King. He’s secured Tedros back on the throne. He can pat himself on the back and bobby off to the afterlife.
Smug git. Tedros is annoyed he didn’t give him a piece of his mind, when he met his spirit. At the time, he’d been so relieved he was getting some help, he’d not even thought to be angry. Now he’d sooner tell him to shove his Trial of Kings up his arsehole. But he can’t, because he’s dead, and permanently dead, at that.

post otk, tedros has rather a lot of things to sort through

The Royal Palace of Jaunt Jolie was like being inside a giant fondant fancy, if the giant fondant fancy was in the oven, and everyone was in the oven, and the oven was in the desert, in direct sunlight.
And the fondant fancy sang.
That was to say, it was a godforsaken nightmare.

agatha and beatrix go on a diplomatic trip to jaunt jolie. it sucks. that's the long and short of it.
(something of a sequel to soldier on, achilles, and idle worship. but honestly these are kind of all just one big narrative at this point)Series

Summary
“I’d have to ask--” Tedros grabbed hopefully for her hand and Agatha reluctantly let him take it. His hands were extremely clammy. Like a squid. “If you would do me the honour of er…” he squinted. “Something about letting me… pay you respects?”
“Like I’m dead?” scoffed Agatha.
“I didn’t memorise it.” Tedros mumbled, partially to himself. “I thought you’d think it was dumb…”

there is a procedure to courting the future queen of camelot. unfortunately, tedros accidentally skipped most of it.

Summary
Mia Fey spends a year in the city as a child and happens to befriend two boys at school.
After disaster strikes and the ruin of the Fey Clan becomes inextricably tied to the ever-tightening noose of the city courts, three separate people find themselves on three separate paths to the same destination: Mia Fey, who lost her mother; Miles Edgeworth, who lost his father; And Phoenix Wright, who lost them. Unraveling nearly two decades of cascading tragedy won't be easy, and it can't be done alone - but is a simple common goal enough to bridge the rifts that have formed between them?
An AU fancomic where Mia was childhood friends with Phoenix and Edgeworth. Begins when they were children and will continue through the trilogy. More canon-parallel than canon-divergent. Features transcribed text.
