Summary
The warm glow of crackling firelight bathed Kacchan in hues of burnt orange, accentuating the flush staining the high planes of his cheekbones even as his mouth remained curled in a scowl. Perhaps it was the thick, murky fog that was still clouding his judgment, but the only thing Izuku could think was that he looked ethereal.
The pointed ears nestled in his unruly mess of blond spikes were pressed down flat against his head, betraying the sour mood weighing over him like a thick, smothering storm cloud.
Even as Izuku’s labored breaths quickened again, all he could do was stare at him.
OR: When Izuku wakes, bloody and beaten, in a snow-filled wasteland, a familiar face arrives with a pup in tow to bring him to safety. Summary
Izuku’s mouth went dry, forcing him to swallow thickly. His throat felt tight, like the winding stems and vines flowering within him were threatening to suffocate him altogether. He opened his mouth before closing it, gaping uselessly as the burning frustration within him began to spill over.
Too many questions with answers Izuku didn’t want to confess his sins to. Too many fractured pieces he couldn’t bring himself to put back together. Not for anyone—and especially not Kacchan.
Not when Kacchan deserved so much better than whatever he had become.
OR: After losing the last embers of One For All due to an unfortunate incident on the frontlines, Izuku Midroiya rejected his alpha nature and sent himself into a self-induced mental health spiral. Katsuki Bakugou insists on helping him--but the more Izuku pushes him away, the more his body begins to revolt against him. When he starts spitting up flowers, Izuku's convinced this is the end. Katsuki refuses to let it be.

“Un-fucking-believable.” Kacchan snapped, cutting him off as he sucked on his teeth. “You,” the omega pressed, lifting his hand back up before jabbing a finger into the center of his chest, “are fucking unbelievable. You hear me, Deku?”
He winced with each harsh poke to his sternum, and clenched his own teeth.
“I’m sorry,” he wheezed out, voice tight and choked-up as he tried to keep himself from huffing on the omega’s scent. “I didn’t… I didn’t know that the expedition would take us years…”
It was a flimsy excuse and he knew that Kacchan saw right through it.
His pointed scoff was enough proof.
OR: Alpha warrior Izuku Midoriya returns to his pack after a three year long expedition with only one thought on his mind: to make the omega he had imprinted on as a pup his mate. When he realizes Kacchan is nowhere to be found upon his arrival, he goes out of his way to seek him out and fulfill his promise. Kacchan isn't enthused--but when he ends up diving head first into Heat Sickness, they both have a revelation.

Before he could stop himself, a half-smirk tugged at the corner of Izuku’s mouth.
A breath of a chuckle was all he managed. Izuku exhaled a thick cloud of acrid smoke, allowing it to linger and hang over him. The acrid haze shrouded the green-haired mafioso in a thin veil of burning nicotine as he cracked one eye open to level the source of the bitten-out gripe with a look of mild amusement.
“It’s never stopped Kacchan before,” Izuku observed, voice lilting with sudden gentleness.
OR: As notorious mob boss Izuku Midoriya takes a well-earned cigarette break, his smart-mouthed and demanding bodyguard, Bakugou Katsuki, decides to intervene. Izuku learns quickly that the only way to handle his Kacchan's attitude is to work the brat out of him.
