A sudden ripple disturbed Byun beneath cold waters, he swam ashore and poked his head out, cold brushes of air touched his face and as expected, his gaze fell on the man sitting on a deck, with head hung low, slumped on his knees and letting his tears pour on his lake.
Silently, he swam below the deck and listened to the words of plea, followed by a large splash of body jumping on water. Shaken, he quickly dives after him before it's too late, hand desperately reaching to the body that is sinking.

Jingyi already pushed a random button which has the word Wangxian (2) beside it.

Wei Wuxian froze on his spot hearing the familiar line. The cultivators who were blaming Wei Wuxian just a second ago also stopped when they saw the screen show a man in black robes pinned down by the esteemed man in white. Their faces a centimeter apart from each other
Lan Wangji moved slightly to let their lips touch but Wei Wuxian lifted his face to dodge him.
"Call me Gege."

"Call me Gege. I'll let you kiss me if you do.""AHH!!! MAKE THAT STOP!!" Wei Wuxian shrieked in panic.
"I DON'T KNOW HOW!!!!" Lan Jingyi also shrieked equally as loud as Wei Wuxian.
Lan Sizhui (whose parents' make out session is about to be broadcasted) stepped in to help his friend. He scanned the object for a second and pushed the button placed separately among the others. The screen now shows a big circle on it.

Here was the thing. Jin Ling adamantly believed that all of his current problems could be traced back to Wei Wuxian. You know, his uncle who was currently in the body of his other uncle, who exposed his other uncle for his crimes against all of his other uncles—
Even just thinking about it gave Jin Ling a splitting headache.
Or perhaps, it was all Lan Jingyi’s fault.
It might have been possible that Jin Ling had spent most of his cultivation conferences sitting in the very back of the room, snickering inconspicuously and writing out hilarious and horrible mini stories with his friends. Stories about the everlasting love of Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian.

It started because Jin Ling heard his uncles talking. He was too well brought-up to eavesdrop properly, so he only overheard a few words as he was passing by on his way to the training grounds at Lotus Pier.
"... he'll have to be paired off soon, in my opinion," Wei Wuxian was saying. Jin Ling didn't know who he was talking about, and didn't really care - Wei Wuxian's opinion was profoundly irrelevant to him on most matters.
"Mn," came a quiet grunt that indicated Lan Wangji was in the room as well. Jin Ling had somewhat more respect for Lan Wangji, except that his involvement with Wei Wuxian surely indicated some kind of perilous blemish on his otherwise flawless reputation and bearing. His presence didn't make this conversation any more informative, at any rate.
But when Jiang Cheng replied, saying, "He's still young, but I've already received three offers from other clans," Jin Ling slowed his steps slightly, because he realized they had to be talking about him.
