Raquel Grayson siempre fue considerada como la primera Robin, la chica maravilla. La primera compañera de Batman.
Fue un manto que al principio le había gustado, le había encantado ser compañero de Bruce Wayne e incluso los lujos pero, con él tiempo aprendió que eso tenía un costo, a cambio de que los inocentes vivieran en paz, ella pagó con la suya, perdió a sus padres, su infancia, momentos que pudo disfrutar en su adolescencia.
Por ese motivos se prometió que nadie más iba llevar la capa de Robin, hasta que Jason Todd le enseño que se podía perder aún más.
Raquel Grayson está luchando con toda su alma que la maldición de ser Robin, no tenga más chicos inocentes pero al parecer Bruce no se da cuenta de eso.

Summary
La idea del matrimonio y la maternidad eran conceptos que a Joan Joestar nunca le interesó aprender. Le gustaba su vida como tal, hacer lo que quiera sin depender o que otros dependieran de ella, pero esa vida que tanto había disfrutado sería tomada por su mismo padre ya que nunca fue partidario de ese estilo, tiempo después se anunció un compromiso por no decir un compromiso arreglado, algo que al principio no impresionó a Joan, siempre supo que se casaría con alguien por conveniencia y era más evidente cuando las deudas de su padre le hicieron vender algunos caballos y joyas de su madre, lo que nunca esperó era casarse con Diego Brando, un hombre que ella odiaba y su padre también.
Joan entonces se volvió madre y esposa como una más de la sociedad, pero era un infierno, un infierno que pudo haberla consumido sino fuera por su determinación, venganza y aunque a veces lo niegue también por su hijo, a pesar de que hay momentos que le recuerdan a Diego.

1962 un año después de la construcción del muro de Berlín. Monika Lyngstad una joven de 17 años es enviada con sus abuelos a ese lugar, ella es de Lebersborn, un nombre maldito en su país natal Noruega.
Monika intenta tener una oportunidad que jamás tuvo desde que nació, tener una vida digna. Lamentablemente un pasado que jamás decidió tener y las consecuencias de aquella guerra le harán conocer a Reinhardt Schultzer. Un miembro de la Satsi con un pasado igualmente de horrible que el de la joven, volviéndose en el objeto de las acciones y deseos más aberrantes de parte del oficial Schultzer.
De la misma manera que con Brishen Maximoff. Un profesor gitano atormentado por un pasado parecido al de la joven huérfana.
Monika conocerá en Alemania oriental lo que es de verdad sufrir las consecuencias de la guerra.

Jason was dubious. “Do you actually trust this guy?”
Dick shrugged. “I trust he’s got money. He’ll let us stay for as long as we want. It’s a better deal than we’ll get anywhere else.”
It sounded like a dream, but Jason knew better. They both did. “But what’s he gonna want in return for all this?”
Dick just ruffled Jason’s curls, trying to be comforting despite his own anxiety. “Don’t worry about it, little wing. I’ll handle it.”
“Dickie—”
“Just focus on you and Timmy, all right? I’m the oldest. I won’t let anything happen to you guys.” He wrapped the arm not already holding Tim around Jason and tugged him down so he would lay with them. Dick didn’t plan to sleep a wink, but Jason didn’t need to go sleepless. “It’ll be okay, Jay. I’ll take care of us.”

Jason's heart is tight, "I'm —"
Bruce places both hands on his shoulders, "Don't apologise. Just breathe with me."
Jason takes a deep breath in, matching Bruce's unshakeable calmness. It's the first time in a long time that Jason feels like he can actually breathe.
(Jason survives Ethiopia and returns home; this is the beginning.)
