“No.” Shigeo answers right away. He then pauses, and Serizawa knows he is thinking up how best he can explain.
“Something like this is different. You get to choose your special items this time.”
Although he no longer relies on Suzuki's umbrella to get through the days, Serizawa discovers the joys and comfort in new items he comes to possess - gifts and treats from friends, old and new.
