    To be fair, she was barely awake, so her mental awareness to what Pat had asked was remarkably low.
    “Oh? What are those then?” The question was light and honest, and Alison’s hadn’t yet received the benefits of her morning coffee, so she started talking before thinking.
    “My hormonnnnnnnn…” she trailed off pulling a face when her brain finally caught up with her tongue and all the blood drained from her face.
    For a couple seconds she and Pat just stared at each other, the ghost with a confused frown and Alison with the pills in her hand and just realizing what she had almost said. And more importantly, what she hadn’t told to any of the ghosts.

    They may coddle him like he's still a child, badger him about giving them some grandkids, play matchmaker (badly), or even just plain annoy him as their son tries to work among all the other stuffy egg-heads in the Institute. Which companions then, would scoff at the antics, which would join in on the fun, and which would inevitably be the instigators of it all?

    There's some fluff, and a bit of hurt/comfort in here, but mostly it's just fun :)
