What It Means
To gainsay something is to deny or disagree with it, or to show or say that it is not true. Gainsay is a formal word usually used in negative statements.
// Although the defendant initially denied involvement in the incident, there was no gainsaying the evidence that the prosecutor presented at the trial.

“Todd, your unremarkable face is enough to put any person off.”
Jason is oddly silent at that. Damian’s being rude to him which the brat usually is , but this time he does have a point. Jason really does have an off putting face. He looks around the batcave and sees that no one cared enough to disagree.
Jeez, way to make a guy feel like shit.
“Oh shove off, demon brat.”

Summary
After a mis-aimed batarang throw, Batman managed to hold onto the Red Hood in the subsequent explosion. Fearing that he could lose his son again, Bruce keeps Jason locked in the Bat Cave.
Jason is exactly where he never wanted to be: stuck in a glass case amidst a colony of Bats he swore he wanted nothing to do with ever again. More annoying than that, though, they refuse to leave him alone or stop talking to him. Sheesh. Now he almost wished they'd sent him to Arkham. ...Almost.
