Katie is a 12-year-old American witch who had to flee the States with her family due to an accident involving accidental magic! The Magical Congress of the United States decided it'd be for the best if they were moved to England just in time for the new term at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. So armed with enough teenage angst and attitude to level a small town, Katie gets ready for an interesting school year as the only transfer student. Once there, she must navigate this brand new school with new friends and enemies. Little does she know that several things are being set in motion to make this one of the most interesting school years yet.
