Summary
The red room falls not long after Natasha and Yelena return from Ohio. SHIELD struggles to find foster placements for many of the younger widows resulting in many SHIELD agents taking in young widows. Due to their aggressive reaction to being placed separately Nat and Yelena are placed together in the Barton home.

Peter stepped back another foot, then another, until his lower back hit the kitchen cabinet behind him. He braced both hands against it, then collapsed in on himself, sliding down into a seated position. His back pressed against the solid wood as he pulled his knees up to his chest.
“I don’t know what to do,” Peter admitted.
Ned looked like his heart hurt.
“Peter…” Ned tried to find an answer. “We should call Mr. Stark.”
