It’s a classic case of “he’s not a snack, he’s the whole damn meal,” but for a phantom candy, and Oscar hasn’t gotten the memo yet that it's not the candy but the other whole damn meal he is ready to sell his soul for.

“Stupid fucking idiot. Complete muppet. Why did I agree to that stupid bet? Why did I fucking lose the bet?” Lando grumbles, squinting into the dark forest around him. He can’t see anything but trees, trees, and more fucking trees. He huffs, rolling his eyes and throwing his hands up, wincing when the light skitters across the foliage around him.
A crack sounds behind him, and he whirls around, a scream dying in his throat when he sees nothing there. Like an idiot, Lando calls out, “Hello?”
Nothing.

Summary
“Cut it out, Lando,” Oscar hisses quietly, eyes hard as he shakes Lando’s hand off of him.
It’s a completely understandable reaction from him. If Lando was being used as a human fidget toy without his consent, he would feel the exact same way.
What isn’t understandable, however, is Lando’s own reaction over being scolded by Oscar. He can feel the embarrassed blush spreading on his skin from head to toe. There’s this weird tingling sensation that blooms from the back of his neck, coursing through his veins.
He doesn’t need a mirror to know what he must look like staring back at Oscar’s stern expression.
OR
Lando discovers he has a propensity for slipping into subspace when Oscar yells at him.
