Summary
In the ancient days of Resdayn, Sotha Sil is rescued by a passer-by when Mehrunes Dagon destroys his home and family. Little could Sil know how an Ashlander named Vivec would alter the trajectory of his life: denunciation of the Daedra, life and marriage among the Dwemer, and eventually rising as a councillor to the King of the Chimer—all culminating in foul murder.
And with that betrayal the wheel turns, like clockwork, to the Tribunal of Morrowind.

Her mother called her Sadrith, since she had been born in a mushroom cave. To the Khajiit caravan she was raised in, she was Bishu Aydith—the "Little Dreamer"—a name earned for vivid dreams that constantly filled her head: dragons in flight, grand empirical wars, and general flights of fancy.
But something was wrong with her, something that made the simplest things feel like climbing a mountain. Something that scrambled her mind, that offered wild, untamed creativity, only to steal the focus required to do anything with it. Only the poison of skooma seemed to settle the noise. Her mother had once said, "Akatosh blessed you with the soul and blood of a dragon, but Sheogorath cursed you, that you not become another Tiber Septim."
Alduin was defeated. But as was her mind’s wont, it began to seek for something else to do.
All Sadrith wanted was a clear mind and a path forward. But the more she sought a sense of order, the nearer she drew to a terrible Void—a hunger that sought to consume everything she had ever cared for.
A void that was itself the explanation for why she was called the Last Dragonborn.
