Summary
Since escaping from his recent containment and reclaiming his throne, Bowser had found himself devoid of companionship, realizing that his past infatuation with Princess Peach no longer held any value. With no successor to solidify his reign, (Bowser Jr is not in this story because that would complicate things and I don't really care about adhering to canon that much) Bowser also understood the precariousness of his position. The whispers of rival kingdoms plotting to overthrow him grew louder, and the threat of being usurped weighed heavily on his mind.
In a bold move, Bowser has sent invitations to the royal families of neighboring lands, calling forth potential suitors from across the realms. As he surveyed the crowd, his gaze fell upon a princess sitting alone away from the crowd. Bowser felt something stir within him, a mixture of intrigue and longing. He couldn’t shake the feeling that this woman held a secret, a story waiting to be unraveled. He felt an urge to draw her closer, to uncover the layers beneath her composed exterior.
In his grand halls of flickering candlelight and masked ambitions, Bowser faced a choice: to open his heart to a new queen or to remain bound by the chains of his past.
