As an ode to Barbatos, Kazuha drinks more than what he can handle while Heizou finds amusement in a festival for a change.

Summary
Heizou spends his days being relegated to small time cases and the occasional arrest of the prettiest and most mild-mannered petty criminal, Kazuha Kaedehara. It's not exactly the life he envisioned when he became detective for the Narukami Police Department, but it suits him just fine.
But when a serial killer that has been haunting Heizou's entire career reappears and Kazuha's boyfriend goes missing at the same time, Heizou finds himself wrapped up in Kazuha's life far more than he ever intended.

He missed Heizou. He hadn’t seen his friend in quite a long while, since he fled Inazuma after Tomo had been killed. Well, he did come back a year later to help traveler upon request, but never got a chance to see Heizou. And before that, With almost every Doushin the Tenryou Commision could muster on his tail, what other options had he had?
As Kazuha longs to see Heizou again, the doushin begins to have nightmares of past events that haunt him and receives a case for finding the murderer of a runaway teenager. Things from way back in history rise to the surface again, and complicate both Kazuha and Heizou’s lives… and endanger a yet recovering Ei’s.
