Her eyes lingered on Tally a heartbeat longer.
“But,” she added, breaking the solemnity, “it’s also about good food, bad sweaters, and occasionally losing a spirited snowball fight to your cadets.”
Laughter rippled through the crowd.
“So tonight, celebrate—not just the season, but the people who make it meaningful. Take this light with you, into every moment and every season to come.”
Or: Sarah and Tally's Yule together as a couple was full of surprises-an unexpected little guest, a snowball fight that got out of hand, a runaway gingerbread, a raging snowstorm, and a touch of love spell that made sure everyone was feeling the holiday magic.

A silent princess is like the sun: felt and admired by all. She is light, and warmth, and promise. She weeps a single tear for the fallen, speaks a gentle word of praise, and retires gracefully from the public eye between engagements.
If this is the life Zelda must submit to after one hundred years of struggling against the darkness, then maybe Hyrule doesn't need a princess anymore.

Zelda nodded along with Link’s words. “You’re right. We’ll need to secure the champions and their Divine Beasts. But the guardians… they will need to be dismantled. They hold a greater threat than the beasts. And… there’s the matter of getting my past self to unlock her sacred power.”
“And you unlocked yours when…”
“When I acted in love for you,” she finished, meeting his gaze. “We need to get our past selves to realize their feelings.”
“You’re saying we need to play matchmaker.”
“Yes.”
“For our past selves.”
“Yes.”
He dragged a hand down his face. “We’re doomed.”

Or: Post-ToTK Link and Zelda, happily married, are investigating a series of disappearances when they’re suddenly sent to before the Calamity. They take it upon themselves to save everyone from impending doom, which includes helping their past selves get along. It’s a lot easier said than done. Oh, and more people are disappearing. “The Princess left me with a handful of words for you, Hero.” Like a bow drawn to tension, his focus snaps back into place. “If you’d like to hear them.” Sheep’s clothing is shed so easily, wool and the soft scent of lanolin left behind when Link steps forward, eyes narrowed. Impa is clearly smart, should already know the answer that builds behind his tongue. “But you need to be willing to risk your life for her before I share them.”
He almost rolls his eyes.
