Ford fidgeted with a loose thread on his pants, swallowing. “I mean…just practice, you know? We could practice on each other and improve for an actual partner.”
Stan looked at him with wide eyes. “But—I—we—” he sputtered, looking down before looking up at him again. “Ford…we’re brothers.”
Ford forced himself to nod, trying to appear more confident than he actually was about this idiotic plan. “Yeah. Exactly. We’re brothers, so it doesn’t mean anything, right?”

After Carla criticizes Stan's kissing, Ford offers to practice with him. This surely won't have any lasting consequences.

He can’t help but feel the shame overwhelm him. It’s bad enough that he’s having impure thoughts about his brother—it’s an entirely different problem to be fantasizing about being rough with him.
Besides, Stanley has been through so much in his life. He doesn’t deserve treatment like that.
He’s somewhat aware that when he had brought it up hours before, Stan seemed interested, but…what if that reaction wasn’t sincere?
After all, Ford had hurt Stanley in numerous ways. He didn’t want to add one more to the list.
“...it was just the heat of the moment,” Ford settles on, not meeting Stan’s eyes.
“And here I was, about to make ya do good on your promise.”

Honestly, the fact that Ford isn’t affected by the spell is making him feel like it’s a bit unfair—everyone else is under the spell, why should he get a free pass? And, really, out of everyone, Stan would much rather Ford act that way than some random strangers.
Then it finally hits him what that weird pit in his stomach is.
It’s disappointment.
