Summary
The boy with the red shoes and the green hair and the freckles sits on Bakugou Katsuki’s desk.
The boy doesn’t speak. Just dangles his legs off the edge, kicking them idly, and leans against the glass of the window behind him. He’s looking at the front, at the teacher, like the lesson matters at all. Katsuki’s gaze slips over to him over and over again, enough that the boy finally looks away from the front of the class to meet Katsuki’s eyes with a grin. Not a nice grin.
At the eye contact, Katsuki’s attention shoots back to the board. The boy doesn’t do the same. His own eyes stay locked on Katsuki, watching. Smiling.
Or: Starting from the day Bakugou Katsuki went too far, he’s been haunted by what he’s done. It takes a while for him to realize that, at some point, you need to leave your ghosts behind.
