My mother feared I would be stolen and inevitably eaten by these rare beasts. I now believe that most youkai had evil tendencies, but for some reason I couldn’t help but wonder if some of these youkai were just misunderstood… There were plenty of evil humans in this world who looked to kill, steal, and rape for their own pleasure.
