    Summary

No one should have been able to survive that. Yet somehow, miraculously, he did. A hunting rifle splattering the midnight bayous of Louisiana red, the howls and sirens, being plunged through a hostile world straight into the afterlife. And now, there Alastor was, apparently alive and well, chained down in prison with a horrific body count still undiscovered and no one the wiser. Vincent couldn’t understand it, but the longer he tried, the more he wanted to find out what exactly had happened to the once-beloved radio star of 1933’s New Orleans.

    Summary

In this world, humanity is well-acquainted with all manner of supernatural beings and has struck a delicate balance of coexistence.

By a stroke of luck, Sam - a runaway from his father and brother who is striving to build some semblance of a normal life, is selected to host an angel. This initiative is part of a cross-cultural program between mankind and divine entities and aims to foster mutual understanding and symbiotic relationships between each other.

Yet, as fate would have it, Sam soon finds himself entangled in a far more intricate and convoluted web of events... For example, stop the looming Apocalypse, or say "to hell with it all" (straight to that One and Only), and press the gas pedal all the way to the floor.

    Summary

In one glorious half-hour, Alastor has broken or completed three contracts, freed himself from two separate forms of bondage, and enjoyed a rousing jaunt through nearly half the Pentagram. Incidentally, he may also have shattered Vox’s psyche and his heart. But you know what they say about making omelettes; that was a price he was prepared to pay.

He is less prepared to be personally tasked with unscrambling the eggs.

    Summary

    “You look like shit.”

A red gaze sweeps Lucifer from head to hoof and back again, followed by a well-sculpted eyebrow rising pointedly.

“Yes, yes,” Lucifer says from very much not the high ground. “Pot. Kettle. I’m aware. Why do you look like shit?”

Red places his free hand on his chest, fingers spread in gentlemanly offense. “I’m merely winded from all the effort I put into saving the Pentagram from your folly.”

Uh huh. No doubt Red’s a real hero. But first, a point of clarification. “My folly?”

“When you walked straight into the most obvious ambush of all time and were used as the unwitting power source for a doomsday device that nearly killed us all.” Black-tipped ears perk forward. “Ring any bells?”

Oh, fuck him. Also, no, not really. “Well, excuse me for underestimating what you sinners are capable of. None of you have ever managed to hurt me before in all the millennia you’ve tried. I’m not used to ambushes meaning anything.”

“Hence, folly.” Red tilts his head to the side at an inhuman angle, canned laughter swelling in the background. “You’re so good at it!”

    Summary

"I don't know what I'm doing here," Lucifer said.

"Then why are you still here?"

Lucifer thought about Charlie. The photograph in his pocket.

"Because I left my daughter. Because I lost my job. Because I spen months wiping a counter and pretending I wasn't dying inside." He looked back at Alastor. "You're the first thing that's made me feel like I'm not already dead."

Alastor went still. The bulb flickered.

"Don't romanticize me," Alastor said. "I'm not your savior. I'm a thief. A killer. I'm a man with a price on his head."

A Bonnie & Clyde reimagining set against the backdrop of the Great Depression. Two broken men. A single robbery that changes everything. A Texas Ranger who wants them dead. And a photograph of a little girl, tucked into a pocket, carried across state lines.
