    To her, love was just another headache—a responsibility she wasn’t eager to bear.

    It wasn’t that she didn’t believe in love. She did. She just didn’t want it.

    Colet had her fair share of relationships, situationships, and every other kind of "ship" known to mankind. They always ended the same way: with her partners making her their entire world.

    She became their top priority, their number one girl. In theory, it sounded like the kind of love anyone would crave. Who wouldn’t want someone willing to drop everything for them?

    Well, she wouldn’t.

    It wasn’t fear of commitment holding her back. She just didn’t want a love that smothered her, that demanded more than she was willing to give.

    Narda finally gives in to her mother's request to move back to Nueva Esperanza with her daughter. Leonor knows how much Narda struggled in Manila (living alone and raising Raine all by herself) so she gets all the support she needs as she adjusts back in to her hometown. She knows it won't be easy, especially with a two year old who's currently having her clingy phase, but Narda is determined to start over and build a better and happier future for Raine. And maybe, for herself as well when she meets Regina along the way.
