Azune sits in one of a long row of chairs, in the front and close to the stage. His legs kick idly. They don’t reach the floor right now. It was funny, being like this again and trying to clamber up into the chair meant for someone grown, but maybe that’s just how things are in here.
“Oh my,” a voice says slightly above him, surprised. Alright, maybe it isn’t. “You’re- oh. Do you know who I am?”
“Yes, you’re Bolaire,” he knows who Bolaire is. He knows he’s meant to be bigger. Looking down at his hands where they are almost lost in too-large sleeves he tries to pick his own age by how skinny his fingers are. “Did I do this?”

Summary
“Can you pop them out now?” Thimble suddenly asks, excited, and even makes an exhilarated circle around him, fluttering her own pair of wings as she does.
It’s unfortunate that now everyone seems invested in the conversation. It’s only making Wicander feel worse, and he despises the pink flush that rises to his cheekbones, as he has to disappoint them. “I… I don’t believe I know how to do that,” he admits, turning his head to the side so he doesn’t have to face them.
Kattigan, who has so far been simply a silent observer, nods. “Happens to the best of us,” he says solemnly, his mouth twitching with effort. It takes a moment for Wicander to realise, only after what follows, that he is suppressing laughter. “You wouldn’t be the first one to struggle keeping it up.”
Or, after discovering his own angelic nature, Wicander encounters a problem of a rather delicate nature. Angelic puberty, that is.

Summary
Rocky visits Grace's life support quarters with some exciting news, some time into his recovery on Erid---the biodome habitat has finally been completed.
It takes a step through the airlock and sinks down into rough sand and pebbles. I chirp and hop down after it. Grace has not seen the biodome yet, but neither have I, and in my enthusiasm I dart slightly ahead.
Grace inhales so sharply that I turn to hear him better in a panic. “Grace? Grace, what is wrong? You are hurt?”
My assumption is quickly corrected when, without warning, it bolts.
