“Good morning, Lan Zhan,” Wei Wuxian said as cheerfully as he could whilst still in the process of waking up.
“Wei Ying,” Lan Wangji repeated, his voice just as much as a warning as it had been only moments ago.
“Hm? What’s that? No good morning for your husband? Is this how Hanguang-jun acts, taking advantage of poor, helpless men in their sleep and not even sparing them a few kind words afterward?”
Lan Wangji discovered a penchant for waking up his husband in a new, exciting way. Wei Wuxian loved it.

Summary
“Oh good, you brought a towel.” Wei Ying had looked at the fluffy towel Lan Zhan held in front of him. “I wasn’t sure if I should take off my boxers, but you’ll cover me up, won’t you?”
“I will…” Lan Zhan had swallowed thickly, immediately turning his face from where Wei Ying was still sprawled on his bed, thumbs hooked into the fabric of his undergarments. He could feel his ears burning at the image. He had made sure to close his eyes and turn his head away as he held out his hands. “Here’s the towel,” he’d said quietly. “Make sure to cover up well.”
Lan Zhan is totally normal about giving Wei Ying a back massage. He keeps his hands in entirely appropriate-for-the-activity places, working out the knots in entirely appropriate muscles.
Until he doesn't.
